CHOICES Celebrates 30th Anniversary at the 2007 Peacemaker Awards Luncheon

CHOICES' 30th Annual Meeting was held January 31 at Limited Brands. Attendees gathered for the installation of CHOICES' Board Officers for 2008, followed by Gail Heller sharing the Executive Director's Report. Hollie Hinton, Director of the Governor's Office for Women's Initiatives and Outreach (GOWIO), served as keynote speaker. Ms. Hinton shared information on GOWIO, which focuses on public policy impacting women and girls in the areas of economic development, education, health, and personal safety. Following the keynote, CHOICES recognized the following organizations and individuals for their exceptional support of our agency during 2008:

The evening was closed with the announcement of the 2008's No Ball Raffle winners. Congratulations to Diane Harry, Evelyn Becker, Tara Freter, Ellen Ahern, Laura Rush, Kelly Hayes, Helen Bailey, Olga Lucia, Arden Baumann, Edward and Maitzie Stan, and Colby Srsic.
